In 1985,

While declaring January 12th as National Youth day, the Government of India affirmed ‘The philosophy of Swamiji and the ideal for which he lived could be a great source of inspiration for the Indian youth.’

The VSC tries to focus on how to build our inner personality, through a earnest study of Swami Vivekananda’s life and teachings, and the Practical views of all Swamiji`s Teachings in the context of this 21`st century.
